We are deeply grateful to have cultivated profound and loving relationships with some of the most experienced Ayahuasqueros (Ayahuasca medicine masters) from the Shipibo-Konibo nation—the indigenous people of the Amazon and original custodians of Ayahuasca medicine.

At Anam Cara, we are committed to creating a transformative space that centers traditional indigenous medicine work at the heart of our retreats.

Guided by the wisdom and devotion of Shipibo elders, who graciously share their healing gifts with us, our collaboration is grounded in the utmost respect for the preservation of their ancient healing technologies. It is a tremendous honor and blessing to work with these elders in such an intimate and personal capacity.

Through their profound spiritual connection, healing rituals, and sacred ceremonies, we are reminded of the essential reciprocity between humanity and nature—a relationship vital to restoring balance and harmony in life.

The wisdom of these elders inspires us to honor and nurture this sacred bond, fostering a deep understanding of our interconnectedness with the natural world and the spiritual realms. In their presence, we are called to remember the profound necessity of ritual and ceremony—practices often forgotten in Western cultures but integral to human life.

Their teachings encourage us to reconnect with our innate connection to Spirit and to embrace the transformative power of our word, intention, and presence on this Earth.
